PURPOSE

Waves of Love Foundation serves children and families navigating divorce. We believe our mission is strengthened when our organization reflects and respects the diversity of the people we serve.

We are committed to building and sustaining a diverse, equitable, and inclusive organization across our Board, Advisory Board, staff, volunteers, programs, and partnerships.

When recruiting Board members, Advisory Board members, staff, and volunteers, we seek individuals with a broad range of backgrounds, perspectives, and lived experiences while also considering the skills and expertise needed to advance the organization's mission.

CCSD programs and resources are available to individuals and families without discrimination based on the characteristics listed above.

RESPECTFUL ENVIRONMENT

We are committed to creating an environment where people feel welcomed, valued, heard, and respected.

Harassment or discrimination will not be tolerated within our Board, Advisory Board, staff, volunteer community, partnerships, or programs.

Concerns may be raised through the organization's Whistleblower Policy or Conflict Resolution Policy, as appropriate.

BOARD RESPONSIBILITY

The Board of Directors is responsible for modeling these commitments through its own conduct and composition and for reviewing this policy periodically to ensure it continues to reflect the organization's values and practices.
