The Center for Child-Safe Divorce “Center for Child-Safe Divorce”, “CCSD”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the website, www.CenterforChildSafeDivorce.org (the “Site. We are a non-profit organization/public benefit corporation. The Center for Child-Safe Divorce (CCSD) is an alliance of like-minded individuals who have come together to help the world’s most precious resource, our children; who, by the millions, have been getting lost in the chaos of divorce-related conflict. We provide our visitors, users and community members and alliance with resources, online communities and information about our organization and our cause, as well as a number of related services and events (gatherively, the “Services”). We respect your privacy. We developed this privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) to disclose how we gather, assimilate, use and disclose information from and/or about you, whether you are simply visiting our Site or are a member of our organization.
YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION MAY BE PROCESSED BY CCSD IN THE COUNTRY WHERE IT WAS GATHERED AS WELL AS OTHER COUNTRIES (INCLUDING THE UNITED STATES) WHERE LAWS REGARDING PROCESSING OF PERSONAL INFORMATION MAY BE LESS STRINGENT THAN THE LAWS IN YOUR COUNTRY. BY USING THIS SITE AND PROVIDING ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION, YOU ARE CONSENTING TO THE TRANSFER OF DATA FROM YOUR COUNTRY TO A COUNTRY THAT HAS LESS STRINGENT LAWS, AND THE PROCESSING OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION IN CONFORMANCE WITH THIS POLICY.
For clarity, the use of the phrase “Personal Information” in the following Privacy Policy refers to contact information (e.g. name, address, email address, social profiles names, or telephone number) and any other non-public information that is used or intended to be used to personally identify an individual. The use of the phrase “Anonymous Information” refers to information that is neither used nor intended to be used to personally identify an individual.
The Center for Child-Safe Divorce Information Gathering Process
Personal Information
In general, the Personal Information gather enables CCSD to provide the Services to you and assists CCSD in learning more about the use of the Site and/or Services. We gather Personal Information that you or someone else submits voluntarily through the Site or the Services. If you are a member of our organization (“Member’), paying for a Member’s annual dues, or making a donation to CCSD, we may also gather Personal Information offline. One type of Personal Information we gather is “Payment Information”, which means the information necessary to process a payment from you, including the following: (i) your name as it appears on the card, (ii) the credit or debit card type (VISA, MasterCard, American Express or any other issuer accepted by CCSD), (iii) a valid credit or debit card number; (iv) the date of expiration of your credit or debit card, (v) your billing address, and (vi) any activation numbers or codes needed to charge your card.
To receive our digital communications (e.g. emails, announcements, newsletters, etc), you must provide your email address. When CCSD receives communication from you through our Site or by you sending CCSD an email, we may gather and store any information that is contained in your communications with us. You can choose not to provide CCSD with certain information, but this may limit the features of the Site or Services you are able to use.
If you become a Community Member or Professional Alliance Member, we will need to gather additional Personal Information about you and/or Professional Information about your business to process and administer your Membership. We may receive this Personal Information from you or, if a third party buys you a gift Membership to our organization, from the party paying for your Membership. If you do not wish for CCSD to gather or hold information about you that you did not provide to us, please see the section below regarding deleting and changing your information. If you are the party paying for a Membership but are not yourself a Member, the only personal information we gather about you will be your Payment Information.
If you wish to donate to CCSD, we will gather your Payment Information for such donation.
One of the Services we provide is access to our various public and private communities on http://www.facebook.com (“Facebook”), through which you may make certain Personal Information available to CCSD and other community members. You control and may restrict and edit the Personal Information that you make available to CCSD by editing your privacy settings on Facebook. We do not gather or record any Personal Information through Facebook unless you expressly request CCSD to do so to provide you certain Services (e.g., requesting Membership information or a newsletter subscription). We may gather the information about your use of the application on Facebook or that you otherwise make available, however, in an anonymous manner such that your identity cannot be ascertained from such information. For example, we may record that a user “liked” content or the number of photos tagged by a user, but we will not record that you liked that content or that you tagged certain photos. We will consider this aggregated and anonymous information gathered from Facebook as “Anonymous Information”.
One of the Services we provide is access to our community, feed and images on other social media platforms/communities including, but not limited to http://www.Twitter.com (“TWITTER”) and http://www.Instagram.com (“INSTAGRAM“), through which you may make certain Personal Information available to CCSD and other community members. You control and may restrict and edit the Personal Information that you make available to CCSD by editing your privacy settings on Twitter and Instagram; additionally, you control your content by what you post. We do not gather or record any Personal Information through Twitter or Instagram unless you expressly request CCSD to do so in order to provide you certain Services (e.g., requesting Membership information or a newsletter subscription). We may gather the information about your use of the application on Twitter or Instagram or that you otherwise make available, however, in an anonymous manner such that your identity cannot be ascertained from such information. For example, we may record that a user “liked”, “shared” or retweeted content by a user. CCSD reposting or retweeting or making use of quoting via #quote does not violate our Privacy Policy and any information or images you share with the public and/or CCSD gives CCSD permission to use within the confines of normal activity on Twitter and Instagram. We will consider this aggregated and anonymous information gathered from Twitter and Instagram as “Anonymous Information”.
Anonymous Information
As you use the CCSD Site or Services, certain Anonymous Information may be passively gathered as well as stored, including, but not limited to your Internet protocol (IP) address, domain names, browser type, and access times – information readily available though application analytics. We may also use Cookies (“Cookies” are small pieces of information that a website sends to your browser while you are viewing a website.), pixels and navigational data such as Uniform Resource Locators (URLs) in order to gather information regarding the time and date of your visit and the solutions and information for which you searched and located. We may use both session Cookies (which expire once you close your web browser) and persistent Cookies. You can direct your browser, by changing its options, to stop accepting Cookies or to prompt you before accepting a Cookie from the websites you visit. However, if you do not accept Cookies you may not be able to use all portions or functionalities of the Site or Services, including signing up for Membership online.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Contact Forms
When visitors use and submit our contact forms, we collect the data shown in the contact form, and also the visitor’s IP address, browser user agent string, and datestamp. This information may be stored indefinitely. For the benefit of all parties and especially our European Union guests, all users must consent to their submitted data being collected and stored in order to use the forms and the site.
Cookies
The first time you visit this site, a browser cookie is generated to identify you as a new visitor. If you were refered to this site by another site, the referal URL is also tracked in a cookie. This allows us to create customized messaging and notices for each of our site visitors. This data is retained in your web browser until cleared by you or your browser.
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.
Security Logs
The IP address of visitors, user ID of logged in users, and username of login attempts are conditionally logged to check for malicious activity and to protect the site from specific kinds of attacks. Examples of conditions when logging occurs include login attempts, log out requests, requests for suspicious URLs, changes to site content, and password updates. This information is retained for 14 days.
Embedded Content From Other Websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

How the Center for Child-Safe Divorce Uses Information
Personal Information
We will use your Personal Information to:
- Create and facilitate your Membership;
- Provide you with Site and Membership Services and customer care;
- Customize the features, performance and support of the Site or Services to you (e.g. Enlightened Professional Alliance search, etc);
- Collect Membership fees and/or donations;
- Market our products and services to you and those of third parties we believe may be of interest to you;
- Respond to your requests, resolve disputes and/or troubleshoot challenges;
- Improve the quality of the Site and the Services; and
- Communicate with you about the Site and the Services.
We may also use your Personal Information to create Anonymous Information records by excluding information that makes the information personally identifiable to you. You can opt out of receiving certain communications from the Site such as our newsletter by clicking the “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom of each email. Please note that even if you unsubscribe or opt-out, we may still send you Membership, Site and Service related communications (e.g., emails related to your questions or comments).

A QR code image is generated for users that set up two-factor authentication for this site. This image is generated using Google Chart’s API. Anonymous Information
We may or may not, through our use of Cookies, keep you logged into our Site, track your session history and gather your click-stream data. We may or may not also tailor Site content to your interests and personalize your use of the Site. We may or may not use your Anonymous Information to analyze usage patterns so that we may enhance the Site or Services, improve our internal operations and the content of our software, and customize the Site or Services for you.
How Long We Retain Your Data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
If you submit a form, the form info and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can maintain a record and support the functionality of the form.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

While you visit our site, we’ll track:

How the Center for Child-Safe Divorce Discloses Information
Personal Information
We may disclose certain Personal Information:
- To third party vendors who help CCSD provide the Services or the Site;
- To third parties to whom you ask or have authorized CCSD to send Personal Information;

Updating and Controlling Your Information.
If you are a Member, you may update certain aspects of your Personal Information on our Site. You may request deletion of your Personal Information by us, but please be advised we may be required (by law or otherwise) to keep this information and not delete it (or to keep this information for a certain length of time, in which case we will comply with your deletion request only after we have fulfilled such requirements). When we delete Personal Information, it will be deleted from the active database, but may remain in our archives and we may also retain Anonymous Information about your use of our Services. Once we disclose some of your Personal Information to third parties, we cannot access that Personal Information any longer and cannot force the deletion or modification of any such information by the parties to whom we have made those disclosures.

This Privacy Policy addresses the CCSD’s use and disclosure of information we gather from and/or about you on the Site. It is up to you to make sure you are comfortable with the information you choose to provide the CCSD and the information you choose to publish. You are aware of and understand that when you use the Site, certain information you post or provide through the Site, such as: photographs, comments and your name, may be made publicly available, shared with other users and/or posted on portions of the Site or the Service. Please be aware that any Personal Information you make available to CCSD on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or any other social platform in existence, or to be created, may also be made available generally on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or any other social platform, including to third parties, pursuant to your Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or any other social platform privacy settings. Please be mindful about your Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or any other social platform privacy settings. The use and disclosure restrictions contained in this Privacy Policy will not apply to any third party, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or any other social platform. We do not control the privacy policies of third parties, and you are subject to the privacy policies of those third parties where applicable.
The Site may contain links to other websites that are not owned or controlled by us, including our partner sites. We have no control over, do not review and are not responsible in any manner for the actions, business practices, security and/or privacy policies of or content displayed on such other websites. When you click on such a link, you will leave our Site and go to another site. During this process, another entity may gather Personal Information or Anonymous Information from you. The Site may also contain links to other websites controlled by CCSD but which operate under different privacy policies. Please review the privacy policy of any new site you visit.
Minor Children
The Site is not directed to any individual under the age of 13. The Site is not directed to minor children and minor children are not eligible to use our Services. Protecting the privacy of children is very important to us. No part of our Site or Services is designed to attract people under 13 years of age. If we later learn that a user is under 13 years of age, we will take steps to remove that user’s Personal Information from our databases and to prevent the user from utilizing the Site and the Services.
Youth
The only portion of the Site or Services directed to any individual under the age of 18 is the Center for Child-Safe Divorce sponsored Instagram account, Crash Pad Club (CPC). The CPC is directed to youth (age 13-18) and minor children are not eligible to use, follow or post on CPC. Protecting the privacy of children and youth is very important to us. We do not gather or maintain Personal Information from people we actually know are under 18 years of age, and no part of our Site or Services is designed to attract people under 13 years of age. If we later learn that a user is under 13 years of age, we will take steps to remove that user’s Personal Information from our databases and to prevent the user from utilizing the Site and the Services.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy is subject to revision from time to time on a going-forward basis. We will post any revised version of the Privacy Policy on this page. If we make any material changes to it, we will also send you notice to the last email address you have provided to CCSD and/or provide notice through Facebook. Continued use of our Services following notice of such changes will indicate your acknowledgement of such changes and agreement to be bound by the terms and conditions of such changes.
